A Note From Beth and Neill

Neutrality

Hello,

Can you believe it, June is here already. This year is moving faster than we seem to be able to keep up with. But even with everything going on, we were able to keep our commitment to get this eZine out by the end of the month. ( Even if it is the last day of the month. :-0 )

We practice celebrating when we keep our commitments -- so, hurray for us!

We'd also very much like to thank those of you who responded to last month's eZine by sending us stories, appreciation, and offers of support. We were left feeling warm and fuzzy knowing you are there, you care, and we are a community. Thank you!

As a quick update: Mom is doing MUCH better at home with us than she was in the rehab facility. We are handling our new responsibilities more easily than we had imagined, and we're very grateful for that. We're settling in quite nicely at our new home and beginning to enjoy it. But, living with more people than we're used to can bring extra challenges and stress.

We're sure our situation is not at all unique. Sometimes we don't want to talk, do things or spend time being together. Sometimes all we want is quiet time for ourselves.

Living together has given us a great many opportunities to practice the skills of neutrality.

Neutrality doesn't mean tolerance -- it means being unattached to any particular strategy, while at the same time staying present to everyone's needs and desires -- including your own.

It depends on the belief that there is always an outcome that can satisfy everyone.

Don't miss this month's article if you live with relatives, roommates, or a romantic partner, or if you live in a housing complex or any other congested dwelling situation.

Exploring outcomes that everyone
can be satisfied with.

AND . . . Speaking of crowded dwellings! :~)

YOU'RE INVITED!

We've decided to have a housewarming party and would love it if you came. This would give us a chance to get to know each other better.

If you live in San Diego, or are going to be in the area on June 21, please join us. If you're interested in coming please send us an email letting us know. We'll send you an invitation with all the details.

Well that's all for now.

Until next month...

With great love and appreciation,

Beth and Neill

Focused Attention Update

New Affirmation/Declaration
CD Programs

We are so excited to tell you about our new affirmation and declaration CDs.

If you have been involved in personal development, you may have let out a silent groan when you heard the word "Affirmation".

BEEN THERE, DONE THAT!

It was this very reaction from our own experience with affirmations that led us to develop a new concept for our Affirmation and Declaration CDs.

The thing is, positive affirmations actually do work! They neutralize negative self-talk, shift your thoughts to ones that are more rewarding, and offer you the confidence to master your life.

The problem with most affirmation programs is, when we simply repeat an affirmation such as, "My dreams will come true in delightful ways", many times our inner voice is screaming in our ear,

"YEAH RIGHT, YOU DON'T BELIEVE THAT!"

Focused Attention Affirmation & Declaration CDs are designed in an entirely different way.

We'll tell you more soon, but for now, here's a hint...

Believability is what makes the difference. If they're not believable, they won't work!

And the best part? We guarantee these will be the most amazing affirmation CDs you've ever experience!

Keep an eye out for an e-mail with "For Your Eyes Only" in the subject line.

In this e-mail you'll receive a fabulous offer we're making available only to our community members.

Experience Peace, Respect and Happiness
in a Crowded World

By Beth Banning and Neill Gibson

Could you do with some peace and quiet? Are noisy neighbors keeping you awake at night or do overly chatty co-workers refuse to leave you alone? If your struggle to find a little tranquility is affecting your happiness, it's time to take action.

In this article we explore how to deal with difficult neighbors and the techniques you need to find peace and get along with anyone in this noisy and crowded world.

For many of us our own space is precious. We love to have somewhere relaxing that we can retreat to when the world seems overwhelming, however it's not always easy to find peace and quiet when we need it.

Increasingly we live and work surrounded by large numbers of other people and our neighbors and colleagues do not always share our desire for peace and quiet. If you want a quiet evening at home but your next door neighbors are throwing a party it's easy to become resentful, angry or distressed. But we believe that...
