A Note From Beth and Neill

Time Management?

If you're life is anything like ours, you probably have more activities to fill up your time than there is time to fill up.

Got Time Management?

If there are only 24 hours in a day, then what "time" is there to manage? What it seems we're actually managing are all the things we're doing--our daily activities.

If we're managing our activities rather than time, then it seems important to get very clear about which activities are most important to us--and make sure we spend time doing those.

We've been looking at this issue for ourselves this month. If you've been reading our eZines for the last eight months or so, you know we've taken on quite a few new responsibilities.

Beth's mom is now living with us and needs full-time care, we've committed ourselves to coming up with strategies to help our son Spenser learn the life-skills he'll need for a self-reliant future, there's the mile long list that comes with moving into a new home, plus all the normal activities of caring for our personal needs.

And then there are the demands of running our business, developing new products, and implementing new marketing strategies.

With all this going on, it was definitely time to start managing our activities. Through all this we re-learned the importance of using our discomfort as an alarm that warns us when a particular area of our life is not getting the attention it needs.

And so, we offer this month's article to help support you with your own "time" management, and to support you in creating your own formula for more balance in your life.

A Time Management Gift
for You !

We'd also like to offer you a special gift that has helped us--and we hope will help you. We've modified a cute little spreadsheet we got from a friend that helps us manage our time and our activities more effectively.

If you're a spreadsheet geek, you'll just love it. Please email us by replying to this eZine message with "spreadsheet" in the subject line, and will send you a link to download it.

Until next month...

With love and gratitude,
Beth and Neill
